Due to the use of titanium anodes, the anodic reaction generates oxygen, which forms a shielding effect between the anode and cathode, and has a certain impact on the uniformity of discharge. Oxygen mainly affects the vertical electroplating line, mainly because the generated oxygen bubbles will float upwards, resulting in a certain gradient of accumulated oxygen bubbles in the upper and lower parts of the anode, resulting in a shielding effect and a certain gradient effect.


To balance the shielding effect of oxygen bubbles on the uniformity of electroplating, on the one hand, the design of the anode can be changed by adopting a horizontal electroplating method, which can fundamentally avoid the differences in shielding effects of various parts of the anode caused by bubble floating (the equipment structure of horizontal electroplating is more complex than vertical electroplating, and not all products are suitable for horizontal electroplating); On the other hand, on vertical electroplating lines, various methods such as changing the anode conductivity design and installing anode shielding plates can be used to counteract its effects, thereby improving the negative effects caused by oxygen bubbles.
